CHINESE
Keith W. Strandberg is fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) and has a BA in Chinese Language and Literature from Oberlin College (Ohio, USA). He lived in Taiwan for a year after graduation from college, studying Chinese and teaching English, martial arts and tennis.
Early in his career, Strandberg worked as a tour director for InterPacific Tours International, taking groups of Americans through China shortly after the country opened its doors to the world. Strandberg did numerous tours, averaging between two to four weeks. Cities visited included Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Xi'an, Nanjing, Chengdu, Ningbo, Guilin, Guangzhou and many others.
Utilizing his fluency in language and his understanding of the Chinese culture, Strandberg has worked as a consultant to international companies doing business with China. He currently works as a special consultant to the president of Sports Art, a high end fitness equipment manufacture located in Tainan, Taiwan.
In addition, Strandberg produced "American Shaolin" on location in China, managing an international crew made up of Chinese, Hong Kong Chinese and Americans. He has the unique ability to work in several cultures, and understands the needs and desires of all.
Strandberg is also studying French and has a working knowledge of German.
